And still haven't got the final idea sorted in my head for the final assignment!
This is driving me quite loopy.
At the moment, I know I want to do an imaginary world.
With my vivid sense of imagination that should be easy right?
Well everything I seem to think of seems very contrite or copyright!
I need to have a lucid thought that combines some of my ideas of what I want to do in After Effects. I think I can do the whole composition in there. Although I am still unclear how to switch between separate compositions, Premiere and AE. I also wish I had better design skills and could do better animations and drawings in Illustrator.
All of this cumulatively makes me feel like I am jumping on the bandwagon too late in life and perhaps I should leave this stuff to the gen Y kids who grew up with an iPhone in their pocket! Rah!
But dam you Gen Yers, I am not through yet and I will create something AMAZING!

It's never too late :)
ReplyDeleteI find the Creative Cow tutorials are a good place for specific 'How To' guides, and also the Lynda.com videos for AE (basic and advanced) are a good starting off point.
